She has received numerous military and civic recognitions for her personal testimony of the Tulsa Massacre and for her lifelong professional and humanitarian accomplishments.

I hoped that this book would provide more biographical or historical information of a facinating and acomplished woman who grew up in a time and place that must not be forgotten.
